Connect the buzzer, wires, battery, magnets and crocodile clips as shown in the schematic diagram of the circuit.
Place the circuit at the bottom of a school bag. Arrange the wires so that the two foil ends are near to each other but do not complete the circuit.
Ask a friend to carry the bag and observe what happens.
What do we do?
Any movement of the bag will cause the magnet to attract the paper clip. This will complete the circuit and the buzzer will start to ring. A circuit is complete if there is current flowing through it.
